- STARTING 1st July 09 the Urban DTS is going to be an epic journey following Jesus around Adelaide, Melbourne, USA & Mexico.
As those still being discipled ourselves into what it means to follow Jesus in a largely post-christian context our hope as staff of the Urban DTS is to provide "you" with a forum to know God more, ask those hard questions which one normally gets frowned at for even thinking of and to give you space to find some answers or at least a direction to start walking.
For many years the West had been sending missionaries to the East. At this time in history, with all that is going on in the West we believe God is calling missionaries to start focusing on our own people, our own tribes once again. If you feel a call, a yearning to see the real message, the real Jesus impact the West then this school may be just what God has for you.
It's going to be a crazy ride, bring it on I say!!!

- What do you love most about YWAMSA?
- Apart from the free cake (which can often be found in the fridge) we love the fact that YWAMSA is a place which accepts people of all ages and encourages them to pick up their dreams and run with them. This may sound cliche but it's actually true.

Blood Chocolate
I found some shocking video clips about chocolate slavery. I know there are heaps out there and you probably all know about it, but for me...every time I see such a video again; I get reminded again and again of how guilty I am. Why? Because I'm eating the chocolate that has been produced by kids in slavery,....kids who have to work 80-100 hours per week for no or little money; they get beaten up and if they try to run away they get killed most times. My name is Anne and I will be involved in running the Urban DTS. I thought it might be a good thing to just introduce myself and share a bit about why I am so excited and passionate about being involved in leading an urban focused DTS.

What is this DTS about? - Is it for me???
This Urban Discipleship Training School will be a radical training course where
you will have amazing opportunities to grow in your relationship with God and
understanding of who Jesus really is. Over the 3-month lecture phase, you will
hear speakers from all over the world speak an a whole range of topics from
hearing God, to His Father Heart towards us, to what He’s called you to be.
The lecture phase will be broken down into 2 phases, interrupted by a 3 - week
outreach to Melbourne.

im from panorama, so like the bottom of the hill from belair.
urban dts sounds good. from what has been said about it, it sounds like a fair sweet idea for adealide. if i didnt have other plans i would seriously consider it.
