What is/was your role at YWAM?
At the moment I help preparing and planning the Urban DTS 2009 I'll co-lead. I'm as well involved in connecting YWAM Adelaide with the city of Adelaide and to actively show God's love to my generation!!! Besides that I'm involved in managing the kitchen, help with a program, involving refugees/migrants. And I am involved in a House church called S&D (I love it). Well and everything else that comes to mind;-)!
About me:
I'm a 21 year old girl from Germany, but somehow thinking I'm still 18*smile*. Mhhh, what can I say about me? I love serving and blessing people, especially in the area of encouragement and cooking.
I would consider myself pretty normal, but actually if I think about it,...others would call me crazy or weird, because who wants to give up her room, her car and her comfortable life to share a room, work for no money and don't have an own car(not yet). Pretty crazy hey?! Even if it has its challenges I can't imagine another life and I'm loving it.
I reckon one unique thing about me...when I'm tired or overworked I tend to go nuts...I suddenly can't stop laughing and I just go crazy;-)!!
What do you love most about YWAMSA?
I love the people, I love the building/surroundings and I think I just love to have a bunch of crazy people around me who love and serve God side by side with me and who are committed to live in a great community. They are my family!

Hey you!

How are you going?
I hope that it is a bit warmer at your place than here. I just (well about 3 hours ago) arrived at my friend’s place, who I’ll be staying with for a couple of days…but the house isn’t heaps warmer than the YWAM Base. Well, apparently I have a Japanese blanket, which is supposedly very warm, I’m curious and looking forward to a warm bed

im lonely i know i have my friends and family but i dont have someone to hug or kiss or go out to movies with coz i dont have many friends and ive always wanted a boyfriend but not as much as i do now

i cant do the DTS this time but i realy do want to do it one day . how often does a new one start up? i had to come back to port lincoln more premature than i was hopeing i am heaps sorry i feel like im leting you guys down and the people who want me to come up ther and meet them my life is soo hectic at the moment i cant realy plan aneything cozz im just following gods flow.. wen i come back in a few weeks im deff gona come up and say hi and get to know people up there..god bless

yea im in adelaide i been around fo a while i have just been so buisey, im leaving again tomorrow tho but ill come up to the ywam base in a few more weeks for A visit, things are complicated with me at the moment im hopeing god will sort them out soon before i drown hahahhaha im feeling heaps attacked at the moment lots of bad randome stuff has been happening 2 me, but at the same time god is provideing me wonderfully as usual, i could do with some prayer tho if thats ok..i realy need it actualy...bye
