Youth With A Mission - South Australia

Christian Mission Leadership

To be called by God to be an influencer to those around us is truly a humbling task. This school is all about training and mentoring young leaders in principles of biblical, Godly leadership that are effective and that work. It is about discovering the gifts that God has already placed in your life, having the opportunity to develop them and make them a part of your life. Be used by God to impact lives for His glory.

Designed as an apprenticeship style school, the Basic Leadership School runs over a period of 12 months covering 7 Modules. In which students will be involved in activities such as staffing Discipleship Training schools, participating in ministry opportunities and developing their practical skill base. Participants will be involved in co-leading and leading small groups and outreach teams, having the opportunity to work with and learn from other leaders. Students will take more responsibility and more up front roles as the course progresses.

It has been designed that a staff member can join in the school at any time of the year and complete it within 12 months if they desire. The program consists of a variety of teaching from local and international speakers from all backgrounds, recent videos on leadership development, outside activities, practical application and group discussions. Classes tend to be 1-2 times a week.

It is a great environment to learn about biblical leadership with plenty of opportunity to work as part of a team, discussing many issues of leadership and working together to come up with solutions. With different nations and cultures being represented, it is a great environment to glean from each other and learn what works and what doesn't.
